Didn’t Receive a Receipt Number from USCIS 

 Confirm that your application was filed if you haven’t received a receipt number to check the status of your USCIS case. We usually advise using a traceable courier when mailing your application package to USCIS so you may track its progress. If you never received a receipt notice from USCIS, consider the following:  

  • Has your application package been received by USCIS in person? Verify the tracking number you have.
